Monaco looks best from the water: Port Hercule from the sea, the Rock above you, and a coastline that runs from Cap d'Ail to Cap Ferrat with coves you can only reach by boat. A day charter gives you a crewed yacht, a route built around your pace, and anchor stops for swimming — without the logistics falling on you.
We are an independent concierge, not a charter company, and we don't own yachts. You tell us your dates, group size and the kind of day you want; we match you with a vetted, licensed charter broker or operator, confirm a fixed quote on WhatsApp, and you pay the operator directly. If a boat or a price isn't worth it, we'll say so.
What a yacht charter in Monaco costs
| Charter type | Typical price | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Day charter, crewed motor yacht | from €1,200 — typical range €1,200–€5,000+ per day | Couples, families and groups up to the yacht's licensed capacity |
| Superyacht, weekly charter | quoted per week, on request | Full Riviera itineraries with crew and chef |
The spread reflects the boat: size, age, crew and season move the price more than anything else. Your exact quote is confirmed on WhatsApp before you commit to anything.
How it works
Everything runs through a short WhatsApp exchange — no forms, no card details given to us:
- Tell us your dates, group size and what you want from the day.
- We come back with 2–3 vetted options and fixed prices from licensed charter brokers.
- You confirm directly with the operator and pay them — no markup, no prepayment to us.
- If weather forces the operator to cancel, we help you reschedule or find an alternative.
What's typically included
Inclusions vary by yacht, but a standard day charter covers:
- Professional skipper and crew for the agreed itinerary
- Fuel for a standard coastal route — longer itineraries (e.g. St-Tropez) are quoted separately
- Swim stops with towels and snorkelling gear on most yachts
- Soft drinks; catering, champagne and water toys on request
On larger yachts and weekly charters, running costs are handled through an APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) settled with the operator — we'll explain exactly how it works for the boat you choose.
Practical notes: season, departure, what to bring
- Season: May to September is the reliable window; July and August book out first.
- Departure: usually Port Hercule or the Fontvieille marina — the exact berth is confirmed the day before.
- Duration: half-day (4h) for a taste of the coast; a full day (8h) if you want lunch at anchor and unhurried swimming.
- Bring: sunscreen, soft-soled shoes (no heels on deck), swimwear and a photo ID.
Honest tips before you book
- Per-person maths changes everything: €1,200 split between six guests is a different conversation than €1,200 for two.
- Book around the Grand Prix and the September yacht show well in advance — berths and boats are genuinely scarce then, and pricing changes.
- A morning departure usually means calmer water and easier mooring at lunch spots.
- Tell us if anyone gets seasick — the right boat and route make a real difference.
